Ouarzazate to Dades Valley
You'll land at Ouarzazate airport and drive through the gateway to the Sahara, stopping at Kasbah Amridil to see the traditional Moroccan architecture up close. From there, the route heads into the desert landscape toward Dades Valley, where you can walk through rock formations and palm groves while checking out Berber villages along the way. The day wraps up with an overnight stay at a local guest house in the valley.

Dades Valley to Merzouga
Start with a visit to Todra Gorge and its narrow canyon with colorful rock walls, then head through Ziz Valley to Erfoud where you'll have time to look around the oasis town and see fossil workshops and shops. Later you'll drive to Rissani to browse the local souk, and then continue on to Merzouga. This is the highlight day with a camel ride into the desert dunes guided by experienced handlers, finishing at Merzouga Desert Camp where you'll sleep in luxury en-suite tents and enjoy traditional Berber dinner with tribal music under the stars.

- Day 3
Merzouga to Ait Benhaddou
There's an option to catch the sunrise in the desert before breakfast, then a 4x4 ride gets you back to the main vehicle for the drive west toward Alnif, passing through the Nkeb oasis. You'll visit Atlas Film Studios, the largest by acreage where films like Gladiator and Indiana Jones were shot. Later in the day, head to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah and settle into a comfortable local guest house for the night.

Ait Benhaddou to Marrakech
After breakfast, spend time walking through Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its mud-brick architecture that's been featured in films and TV shows, and take in the desert views from the kasbah. From there, the route climbs through the High Atlas Mountains, passing through valleys and traditional Berber villages on the way down to Marrakech, arriving by late afternoon.

Marrakech
Dive into Moroccan culture at Jemaa el-Fnaa square where snake charmers, storytellers, and musicians perform throughout the day. Walk through Bahia Palace to see the architecture and visit the Saadian Tombs. Spend time in the Medina souks picking up traditional crafts, spices, and textiles, then head to Yves St Laurent Jardin Majorelle to relax in the gardens with their vibrant blue buildings. Have a traditional Moroccan meal as evening comes on, and later explore Marrakech's bar scene and music venues if you're interested.
