Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Hanoi

    You'll arrive at Noi Bai Airport and get transferred to your hotel in downtown Hanoi. After you check in, the day is free for resting and settling into the city.

  2. Day 2

    Hanoi

    Breakfast at the hotel starts things off, then you'll head out to see Hanoi's main historical spots. Ba Dinh Square with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the presidential palace, Uncle Ho's house-on-stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, and Temple of Literature fill the morning and early afternoon. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll check out the Ethnology Museum. By evening you'll catch a water puppet show.

  3. Day 3

    Hanoi to Sapa

    Early pickup around 7:30 AM for a scenic drive from Hanoi through the Red River Delta to Sapa. You'll arrive by noon and have lunch in town before trekking to Y Ling Ho Village in Muong Hoa Valley. The trek takes you down through rice terraces, across a suspension bridge, and uphill for views. After finishing at Lao Chai Village where transport picks you up, you'll return to Sapa and check in.

  4. Day 4

    Sapa to Y Ty

    After breakfast, you'll head north to Y Ty in Lao Cai province for one of Vietnam's best rice terrace areas. If it's Sunday, you'll visit Muong Hum market to see ethnic minorities trading; other days you'll stop for photos instead. Arriving around noon, you'll grab lunch and rest before trekking down a valley with your guide to explore Y Ty. Then you'll check into accommodation.

    Take a relaxed morning with breakfast before checking out at 9:00 AM. The 7-hour drive back to Hanoi includes a lunch stop at a restaurant in Lao Cai City along the way. You'll arrive at your Hanoi hotel where the tour wraps up.

  6. Day 6

    Hanoi

    If you're leaving today, you'll have free time until your airport transfer. If you'd like to continue, the tour can extend to other parts of Vietnam like Halong Bay, Ninh Binh, Ha Giang, Phong Nha Caves, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City, or Mekong Delta.
