Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
Your guide meets you at Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you'll walk through the ancient palaces and temples that make up this historic plaza. The architecture here really shows the craftsmanship of centuries past. From there, you head up to Monkey Temple, which sits on a hilltop and gives you good views out over the city and surrounding valley. Later in the day, you'll go to Pashupatinath Temple, located along the Bagmati River. This is one of the most sacred Hindu temples, and the setting along the water is quite striking. After that, your final stop is Boudhanath Stupa, an impressive white dome structure that's one of the largest stupas in the world. The tour wraps up around 4:30 pm when your guide takes you back to your hotel.
