The tour was excellent, with a wide variety of activities! Even though it's an active tour, there's also plenty of space for cultural experiences and getting in touch with the locals, for example, when we visited a local school & sustainability project in the countryside! The food was awesome throughout the trip, but don't forget to mention if you don't like it (too) spicy! The Adventure Leader was extremely informative and shared lots of knowledge! My personal highlights were the cooking class, the safari (we saw over 20 elephants), and the hikes around Ella!

If you’re someone who usually travels solo but is curious about trying a group trip, I can’t recommend The Dragon Trip’s 18-day India tour enough! I typically avoid tours because I love the freedom of independent travel, but this experience completely changed my perspective. It still felt like traveling—adventurous, immersive, and full of unexpected moments—but with the bonus of an amazing group of like-minded people and the ease of having all the logistics handled. India can be overwhelming, especially for first-timers, but I felt so safe the entire time. From navigating chaotic city streets to taking overnight trains, it was reassuring to have a guide who knew what they were doing. Instead of stressing about transport or where to eat, I could actually enjoy every moment—whether that was watching the sunrise over the Taj Mahal, sleeping under the stars in the desert, or exploring the wild energy of Mumbai. One of the best parts? The people! I bonded so much with the other travelers, and by the end, we felt like a little family. We hyped each other up for spontaneous adventures, laughed over late-night train snacks, and shared the highs (and occasional travel fails) together. If you’re on the fence about group travel, I promise this trip still gives you that raw, real travel experience—just with a built-in support system and some of the best company you could ask for. Already dreaming about my next Dragon Trip!

I recently returned from an incredible trip to India, and I can confidently say it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The tour organized by The Dragon Trip exceeded my expectations in every way. First and foremost, the tour leader was exceptional—knowledgeable, organized, and truly passionate about ensuring we had the best experience. I could not ask for anyone better to guide us through India’s vibrant culture and history. The itinerary, though packed at times, was well-structured to allow us to explore as much as possible within the timeframe. I appreciated the variety of destinations and activities that showcased the diverse beauty of India. The food was another highlight—absolutely delicious! It was a great opportunity to try authentic Indian cuisine. Overall, this trip was unforgettable, and I would highly recommend The Dragon Trip to anyone considering a journey to India. I’ll definitely be sharing my amazing experience with friends and family!

    • Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
    • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
