Casablanca
An English-speaking assistant meets you at Casablanca airport and helps with any questions before transferring you to your hotel. Once you check in, the afternoon and evening are free so you can wander around the city at your own pace.

- Day 2
Meknes - Fez
After breakfast, you'll walk along Boulevard of the Corniche seafront and through the historic Anfa neighborhood. The Great Mosque of Hassan II is there if you want to go inside, though seeing the exterior is part of the route. Then you head through fertile valleys to Meknes where you'll see the fortified city walls, Bab El Mansour gate, Agdal pond, and Lahdim Square. Later you continue to Fez for dinner and your night there.

Fez
This morning after breakfast, you tour Fez's Royal Palace with its seven golden bronze doors. The Old Quarter (Medina) is next, where you'll see Madrasa Bou Inania Islamic school, the beautiful Nejjarine Fountain, and Al-Karaouine Mosque, which is a significant cultural center of Islam. You'll also walk through the Tanners neighborhood and visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. Lunch is available if you want it. By afternoon you're exploring the artisan neighborhoods before heading back to your hotel.

Rabat - Marrakech
After breakfast, you head to Rabat to check out the Royal Palace (Dar-el-Makhzen) and the Kasbah of the Oudaya, a fortified 12th-century World Heritage site. You'll see the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the unfinished Mosque, and Hassan Tower. There's time for optional lunch, then you travel to Marrakech for dinner and overnight.

Following breakfast, you visit the Menara Gardens with its 14-hectare park and 12th-century pond. Moving to the city center, you see the Koutoubia minaret and Bahia Palace from the 19th century. Lunch happens at your hotel, and then you explore Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site packed with street performers and vendors. The afternoon gives you free time before returning to your hotel.

You return for dinner and overnight.

Casablanca

Casablanca to Cairo
At the scheduled time, you transfer to Casablanca International Airport for your flight to Cairo. An English-speaking team member helps with visa processing and answers questions while you get a city briefing. An air-conditioned private vehicle takes you to your hotel with check-in assistance. The rest of the day is for relaxing at your hotel.

Giza
After a typical Egyptian breakfast, you visit the Pyramids of Giza with an official English-speaking guide to see the Great Sphinx, Great Pyramid, and Pyramid of Khufu, the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. An optional tour to Saqqara's Necropolis and the funerary complex of King Djoser is available. Evening options include a light and sound show at the Pyramids or a dinner show on a floating Nile restaurant.

Cairo
Following breakfast at your hotel, you can spend a free day exploring Cairo at leisure or join the optional full-day tour. That tour includes the Metropolitan Museum of Art with Tutankhamun treasures and mummies, the UNESCO-listed historic district and Citadel of Saladin, and Khan el Khalili bazaar. You'll also visit the Coptic neighborhood with the Hanging Church, Saints Sergius and Wachus Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Later you transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor, then board a Nile cruise ship with accommodation and dinner.

Nile Cruise
After breakfast, your guide takes you to explore the temples of Luxor and Karnak, which are dedicated to gods Amun and Ra. You'll walk among the sphinxes connecting the temples and learn about the pharaohs. Crossing the Nile brings you to the Necropolis of Thebes and Valley of the Kings with 62 pharaonic tombs. You see the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir El Bahari), the Medinat Habu temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Back on the cruise ship, you sail toward Esna and pass through the Esna Lock on the way to Edfu.

- Day 12
Kom Ombo - Nile Cruise
You'll catch an Egyptian sunrise in Edfu, then have breakfast onboard. A carriage ride takes you to the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Back on the ship for lunch, you continue sailing to Kom Ombo. There you visit the temple dedicated to Haroeris (falcon god) and Sobek (crocodile god), plus an exhibition of remarkably preserved mummified crocodiles. Dinner is onboard before sailing toward Aswan.

Aswan
After breakfast, you take a traditional felucca (Egyptian wooden boat) ride on the Nile to see Elephantine Island, known for historic ivory trade, and Kitchener Island with its botanical garden and views of the Agha Khan Mausoleum. You visit the impressive Aswan High Dam, an engineering achievement completed in the mid-20th century to control Nile flooding. Sailing to Philae island, you see the magnificent temple dedicated to goddess Isis, which was relocated to protect it from flooding. You return to the motor ship for the night in Aswan.

These rock-carved temples were originally relocated to protect them from Nile flooding and showcase Ramses II's grand vision. The majestic Temple of Ramses II features impressive statues, and you also visit the exquisite temple dedicated to Nefertari, Ramses II's beloved wife. A light and sound show reveals the secrets of these ancient wonders. You return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
