I am only awaiting a confirmation for the guided tours as we are really close to the tour departure, and last min booking is not really something easy and simple to manage.

Yes the passenger can park his car at Catania hotel while they are on the tour. The parking cost 22 EUR per day. Also for departure transfer its possible to drop them from Palermo back to the Catania hotel.
