I checked with the tour operator one month before the trip and he confirmed that the tour was good to go and my local guide would meet me at the airport, which he did. The local guide took me to the hotel listed in the itinerary, and there was no reservation for me, but they kindly gave me a room and said the tour operator could pay after I checked in. The tour operator never paid the hotel bill and told me TourRadar hadn’t forwarded my money to him. In the end, I had to pay for the hotel and meals myself, because the tour operator wouldn’t pay them. I am still trying to get a refund from TourRadar.
