- Day 1Taroudant to OuarzazateYour journey starts at 8 AM when you'll head toward Ouarzazate by way of Taroudant. Once there, take time to walk through the markets and see the local craftsmanship the town is known for. After exploring, you'll continue on to Ouarzazate for lunch. In the afternoon, check out the Taourirt Kasbah before having dinner and settling in for the night. - Meals

- Day 2Ouarzazate to MerzougaAfter breakfast, you'll travel through the Skoura palm grove, which has over 700,000 palm trees, heading toward the Rose Valley. The route takes you through Tinghir and then to the Todra Gorges, where 300-meter-high red cliffs line the landscape. From there you'll continue to Erfoud and Rissani for lunch. Later in the afternoon, head to Merzouga village where you'll take a camel ride at sunset and spend the night in a desert camp. - Meals

- Day 3MerzougaWake up early to see the sunrise over the Sahara dunes, then have breakfast and freshen up at your camp. You'll ride camels back to the dune line to meet your driver. After that, explore nearby desert villages like Hassi Labied and Khamlia, which are known for Gnawa music traditions. Visit the abandoned town of Mefes and spend time with a nomadic family. The rest of the day is yours to relax at your hotel or catch another sunset at the dunes if you'd like. - Meals

- Day 4Merzouga to ZagoraStart with a local breakfast, then head to Rissani to see the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the palm grove. Grab lunch in N'koub and continue through the Draa Valley as you make your way toward Zagora. You'll finish the day with dinner and an overnight stay there. - Meals

Take a lunch break somewhere along the way, then continue on to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou. Spend time exploring the famous Kasbah, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been used as a filming location for several major films. Have dinner and spend the night there. - Meals

Once you arrive, check into your accommodation. Your afternoon is free, so you can relax or walk around Jemaa el Fnaa main square and browse the souks at whatever pace suits you. - Meals

- Day 8Marrakech to EssaouiraYour driver picks you up for the roughly 2.5-hour drive to the coastal town of Essaouira. Along the way, you'll stop to see the famous tree-climbing goats and try Argan seeds, then visit an Argan cooperative where you'll learn how local women make Argan oil using traditional methods. After arriving in Essaouira, walk through the ancient shops and winding alleys, check out the local markets and artisan workshops, and head to the Skala for views of the sea.
