    Breisach

    Breisach serves as your starting point for several day trips. You can visit the old town of Riquewihr to see Alsatian architecture, or head to Freiburg to check out its Gothic cathedral. If you prefer something more active, there's cycling through the countryside or hiking in the Black Forest nearby.

There's also an option for a guided bike ride if you'd rather explore by cycling.

    The ship cruises through the UNESCO-designated Rhine Gorge and arrives at Rüdesheim, a town known for wine. You can join a wine tasting, take a gondola ride above the vineyards to the Niederwalddenkmal, or hike through the vineyards. Siegfried's Mechanical Instrument Cabinet is worth a visit, and the local Rüdesheimer coffee is popular with travelers.

    Dordrecht, Holland's oldest city founded in 1220, offers several ways to spend your time. In the afternoon, you'll head to Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its 18th-century windmills.

    • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before February 4th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 4th, 2026, a minimum payment of $575 is required to confirm your booking with AmaWaterways. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • The following cards are accepted for "AmaWaterways" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
