Our safari(s) in Uganda were executed without any issues. Our gorilla and chimpanzee treks were amazing. The choice of selected lodges based on the price points that were agreed were wonderful, and the food was superb. Frankly, 5 stars isn’t a high enough rating. Our driver and guide, Jasper, if available for your trip, is absolutely a must. His knowledge, driving skills, and personality are a 10 out of 10 and we are well traveled. Jasper was always concerned with our well being and kept a very aggressive game drive schedule on time. (We did see the African Big 5) though the walk amongst a tower, (that’s the correct term of a herd), of giraffes was as memorable as being ten feet from a silver back gorilla. Communications with Devine was prompt and am very happy with their design of this bespoke trip. Highly recommend…and endeavor to go with Jasper….even if it means changing your schedule.

My husband and I chose Devine African Safaris among many agencies we talked to because it looked right away the best in terms of offer, price and professionalism. We went just to Uganda with them for the 10-days tour around this amazing country. The owner Nicholas is very fast responding to any emails we sent and questions we had, we asked him to change some things of the plan and he satisfied us in everything. Once arrived they even came to pick us up at the airport! Our guide was TOM, such a lovely person to spend so much time with. Gentle, professional, caring, prepared and funny. He made our trip even more meaningful and memorable to be honest! He satisfied every request we had and he is really good at driving, which is not to take for granted there! Ahaha Each detail was very studied and every day it has been a discovery: an escalation of beauties from the Murchision Falls Nation Park, to the Kibale National park and Queen Elizabeth too among many more ! We will keep close these memories forever. We booked the Devine’s mid-range package and it was more than what we expected. Each lodge we slept at was amazing, clean, comfortable and best views. I would recommend it 100%! The agency was also so nice to arrange a last minute transfer in the middle of the night to the airport which was not included, so thank you even more! We really couldn’t imagine anything more than what Devine & Tom made us live. THANK YOU!

Unforgettable Experience in Rwanda and Uganda – Highly Recommend Devine Safaris! My husband and I recently returned from a whirlwind private tour ofAkagera National Park in Rwanda and Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest in Uganda, and we can't stop raving about the experience. From start to finish, Devine Safaris exceeded our expectations. Our guide and driver, Emma, was simply outstanding – knowledgeable, professional, and a joy to travel with. He handled every detail with care, ensuring we were comfortable and informed throughout the journey. His deep understanding of the region’s wildlife, geography, and culture added so much to the experience. Akagera National Park offered breathtaking landscapes and thrilling game drives – we saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos in their natural habitat. The park’s diversity and beauty left us speechless. Crossing into Uganda for our Bwindi gorilla trekking was the highlight of our trip. The trek was challenging but absolutely worth it. Coming face-to-face with a gorilla family in the heart of the rainforest is an awe-inspiring, humbling experience we’ll never forget. Despite being a quick trip, everything was well-organized and seamless – from border crossings to park permits and accommodation. We always felt safe and cared for. If you’re considering a tour in East Africa, we wholeheartedly recommend Devine Safaris and request Emma if you can. This was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, made even more special by the people who guided us through it. Thank you, Devine Safaris – we’ll be back!
