You'll touch down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where someone will be waiting to pick you up and drive you to your hotel. Your driver-guide goes through what to expect on the safari before you get checked in and settled.

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
The drive to Amboseli National Park takes you through territory known for its large elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising in the distance. You'll arrive at Ol Tukai Lodge in time for lunch, then head out on an afternoon game drive across the park's grasslands.

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli to Ol Pajeta Conservancy
You'll drive to Ol Pajeta Conservancy with game viewing happening along the way. Lunch is at Serena Sweetwaters Camp once you arrive. The afternoon opens up for game viewing plus optional activities like night drives, walks, rhino patrols, or checking out the chimpanzee sanctuary.

Ol Pajeta to Samburu National Reserve
Heading north across the equator brings you to Samburu National Reserve, also called 'Born Free' country where Elsa the lion lived. You'll stay at Ashnil Samburu Camp right on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, then take an afternoon game drive to see what the reserve has to offer.

Samburu National Reserve
Shaba National Reserve gets a full day of safari time with morning and afternoon drives. You'll see elephant herds, lions, leopards, and species you won't find elsewhere like Grevy's zebra and wild dogs. There's an optional Masai village visit if you want to go that route.

Samburu to Lake Elementaita
The drive heads to the Great Rift Valley with a stop at Thomson's Falls in Nyahururu where you can take in the scenic views from Panari Resort during lunch. After that you'll continue to Lake Elementaita, a soda lake between two larger lakes, where pelicans, flamingos, and various game hang out.

Lake Elementaita and Lake Naivasha
You'll safari through Kenya's first and largest rhino sanctuary with strong chances of spotting both black and white rhinos plus leopards. In the afternoon you head to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and walk on Crescent Island, where hippos, zebras, giraffes, and birds roam freely.

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara

Masai Mara to Diani Beach
After breakfast you'll head to Ol Kiombo Airstrip for a domestic flight down to Diani. Once you land at Ukunda Airstrip, your representative meets you and drives you to Baobab Beach Resort, which sits on a cliff overlooking Diani Beach about 38km south of Mombasa.

Diani Beach
Two days to kick back at Diani Beach. Spend time on the sand or by the pool, wander through the local village, or set up optional activities directly at the hotel like snorkeling, scuba diving, spa time, or swimming with dolphins. The beach has white sand, clear water, coral reefs, and marine life.
