Itinerary
- Day 1Launceston to StanleyYour Tasmanian adventure kicks off in Launceston with an 8 am welcome meeting. From there, you'll head to Devonport to take part in a Welcome to Country ceremony at Tiagarra Museum, then spend time at the Tasmanian Aboriginal Cultural Centre. The route follows the Cradle to Coast Tasting Trail with stops along the way to sample local ciders, chocolates and truffles. After grabbing lunch in Penguin, you'll continue to Stanley where you can climb The Nut for views across the coastline, check out the working wharf, then settle into accommodation near Smithton for the next two nights. - Meals

- Day 2Tarkine WildernessThis day takes you through the Tarkine Wilderness (Takayna), where Australia's largest temperate rainforest spreads across the landscape. You'll come across geological features like the hidden Trowutta Arch and Lake Chisholm sinkhole. The route includes a stop in Marrawah, known for its big wave surfing, and the Edge of the World with its sprawling ocean vistas. Short walks let you get up close to these sites before heading back to your rural accommodation near Smithton. After sunset, the area offers excellent conditions for stargazing. - Day 3Tarkine to CorinnaYou'll travel to Corinna by way of Rocky Cape National Park, passing through windswept heathlands and stopping to explore sea caves and rock pools. Along the route, there's a visit to the historic lighthouse at Table Cape and Boat Harbour Beach. You'll also walk through Hellyer Gorge and head to Philosopher Falls near Waratah. By evening, you'll be staying in a restored miners' cottage in remote Corinna, where a group dinner and sunset experience await you and your fellow travelers. - Meals

- Day 4Corinna to Cradle MountainThe morning in Corinna is yours to use as you'd like, with options for kayaking or hiking around the Pieman River and Tarkine Rainforest if you're interested. After lunch, the group travels to Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park and checks into accommodation nestled among the trees. Afternoon time is free to relax and settle in. If you're interested, there's an optional visit to a wildlife conservation facility where you can see Tasmanian devils being fed, tour the nursery, and listen for their distinctive calls at sunset. - Day 5Cradle Mountain to LauncestonAfter breakfast, you'll hike the Dove Lake Circuit, a fairly easy board-walked path that circles the lake with Cradle Mountain's peaks rising above. This gives you time to take in the environment at a comfortable pace. A group lunch happens at a local restaurant in the park, with the option to relax by the fire afterward. Then it's a drive back to Launceston with optional stops for tastings and shopping for things like local raspberries, cheese and ice cream. Your evening is free to either unwind or go out to dinner with others in the group. - Meals

If you're heading to Hobart, the drive south begins after breakfast and you'll arrive around 10:30 am with no further scheduled activities.
