Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Romania
You'll arrive in Romania and get transferred to your hotel. After you settle in, the rest of the day is yours to walk around and get a feel for the city at your own pace.
- Day 2
Bucharest to Sibiu
Start with a guided tour through the Parliament Palace, which is one of the world's largest buildings. Then take a walking tour through Old Town Bucharest, seeing University Square, Revolution Square with the Royal Palace and Romanian Athenaeum, and Union Square. Grab lunch wherever you'd like, and later you'll be driven to Sibiu where you'll stay for two nights.

Sibiu
Spend the day walking through Sibiu with a guide, checking out the Grand Square, Small Square, and the Bridge of Liars. You'll see the Lutheran Church and then have free time to wander around the Old Town on your own. For dinner, pick a restaurant that appeals to you and try some local food.

Sibiu to Sighisoara
In the morning, you'll head to the UNESCO World Heritage site Biertan Fortified Church. Then transfer to Sighisoara, a medieval town with buildings and streets that look like they're from centuries ago. A guide will take you around to see the Clock Tower and Church on the Hill, then you'll try some Transylvanian brandies at a local wine cellar. You'll have free time before dinner.

Sighisoara to Brasov
Early on, drive to Viscri village to see this charming location that King Charles has visited. Stop by the church castle Deutschweisskirch and then continue to Brasov for a walking tour featuring the Black Church. You'll have leisure time to explore the Old Town before choosing where to eat dinner.

Brasov to Bran and back
The morning in Brasov is free, so you can take the cable car up Tampa Mountain for views of the area or hike if that appeals to you. In the afternoon, drive to nearby Bran to see Dracula Castle. You'll get back to Brasov for the night, and there's an option to dine at the former Tea House of Queen Mary if you're interested.

Brasov to Bucharest
You'll visit Peles Castle, a German Renaissance building set in the Carpathian Mountains. After that, see the Sinaia Monastery and its peaceful setting. Later you'll be driven back to Bucharest for your last night, where you'll have dinner at a local restaurant with a folklore show and drinks to celebrate.
