- Day 1
Rome
You'll arrive in Rome and get transferred to your hotel to settle in. Your guide meets you later to go over the basics of what's ahead. By evening, head over to Via Cavour where you'll find plenty of restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese, and international food for dinner.

- Day 2
Rome
Start the day with a panoramic tour showing you Rome's layout. Head to Vatican City and walk through Saint Peter's Basilica, then check out the Imperial Forums where political decisions once happened during Roman times. Later you'll be driven to Trastevere for a walk down its old stone streets lined with medieval churches, small shops, and trattorias serving local food along with Indian, Chinese, and international choices. Head back to your hotel when the evening winds down.

Rome to Florence
Leave Rome heading north through nice countryside and arrive in Florence. Go straight to Piazzale Michelangelo for the views. A local expert takes you through the old center during the evening, showing you Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria before giving you free time to wander on your own. Find dinner at one of the many restaurants offering international options around the city.

Florence to Venice
Cross the Apennine Mountains heading toward Venice, passing through mountain scenery along the way. Once you arrive, take a boat across the Giudecca to reach Venice itself. A local guide takes you to St. Mark's Square, then to the Murano Glass Factory where you'll see how craftspeople still make glass using traditional methods. You'll have free time to explore after that. The night is spent in the Mestre district.

Venice to Innsbruck to Switzerland
Head out from Venice toward Austria and pull into Innsbruck with time to walk around the historic center and grab lunch. From there, continue through Tyrolean mountain scenery as the route crosses into Switzerland.

Switzerland
Travel through mountain and lake scenery heading to Interlaken. Stop in Grindelwald for coffee, then take a cable car up the mountain and walk along a path to a suspension bridge where you can see glaciers and peaks. Have lunch up there, then continue down to Lucerne for an evening stroll through this beautiful Swiss city. Later you'll head to Zurich with some free time to walk around before going to your hotel.
