Estuary Hike
Your hike starts through urban areas and along the estuary, mostly flat to begin. Once you leave Fene behind, the terrain starts to shift and elevation changes kick in as you continue forward.

Landmarks Fene - Day 3
Rural Terrain to Betanzos
This stage takes you through rural landscape with the toughest climb happening between Ponte do Porco and Montecelo. You'll reach Betanzos by day's end, a medieval town known for its traditional omelet that you should definitely try.

Most Challenging Stage
The most demanding day of your hike involves several kilometers through forest and rural terrain with steep climbs. You'll pass through small villages surrounded by woodland and shrubland before reaching Mesón do Vento. Services are sparse along this route, so plan accordingly.

Flat Route
A much easier day on the trail with mostly flat hiking. The path uses asphalt roads and dirt tracks, giving your legs a break from yesterday's challenging terrain.

Santiago de Compostela
Your final hiking stage leads to Santiago de Compostela's cathedral, and you'll notice more pilgrims joining the trail as you get closer. The route goes through an industrial area initially, then transitions into the historic center where the cathedral towers come into view.
