Itinerary
- Day 1Arrival in NegomboYou'll be met at the airport by a representative who'll introduce your chauffeur or guide. The drive to your accommodation near Negombo beach gives you options, so if you're up for it, you could stop at the Dutch Canal and Agurukaramulla Temple along the way. Otherwise, heading straight to the hotel works fine if travel has worn you out. Optional Activities- Visit Dutch Canal - historic waterway system used to transport export produce to seafaring ships
- Visit Agurukaramulla Temple - known for its epic Buddha statue, dragon-entrance, and ancient murals

- Day 2Negombo to MirissaAfter breakfast you'll head south from Negombo toward Mirissa, with optional stops if something catches your interest. On the route you can check out Colombo's National Museum, Galle Face Green, the Fort area, and Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple. There's also the Turtle Hatchery to see, and if you want to spend time on water, the Madu River has 36 islands to sail through. The historic Galle Fort and the traditional Stick Fisherman's Village are nearby too, but let your chauffeur know which stops appeal to you and which ones to skip. - Meals

- Day 3Mirissa to YalaEarly morning starts with a whale and dolphin watching trip from Mirissa Harbor at 6:00 am, where you'll look for dolphins, humpback whales, and blue whales in open water. In the afternoon you'll head to Yala National Park for a half-day safari to spot leopards, sloth bears, elephants, and colorful painted storks across the landscape. - Meals

 Optional Activities- Whale and Dolphin watching excursion - boat departure at 06:00 from Mirissa Harbor (subject to weather)
- Yala National Park half-day safari - spot leopards, sloth bears, elephants, birds, crocodiles, and jackals in Sri Lanka's most visited wildlife reserve

- Day 4Yala to EllaThe journey from Yala to Ella includes stops at notable sites along the way. You'll see the ancient Buduruwagala Temple with its seven 10th-century statues, featuring a massive Buddha figure that still has traces of its original paint. Then there's Ravana Falls, one of Sri Lanka's most visited waterfalls, which connects to stories from the Indian epic Ramayana. - Meals

 Optional Activities- Visit Buduruwagala Ancient Temple - Buddhist temple complex with seven statues from the 10th century belonging to the Mahayana school
- Visit Ravana Falls - popular waterfall with roots connected to the Indian epic Ramayana

- Day 5EllaThis day focuses on Ella's outdoor options and activities. You can hike Ella Rock for views of the surrounding terrain, or take a 2-hour round-trip walk through tea fields up to Little Adam's Peak. The historic Demodara Bridge, a 9-arch structure from the British Colonial period made entirely of rock, brick, and cement without any steel, is worth seeing. If you want something more thrilling, Sri Lanka's first zipline adventure operates here, running over half a kilometre at 80 kmph. - Meals

 Optional Activities- Hike Ella Rock - adventure travel with hiking, walking, and exploration of the surrounding area
- Climb Little Adam's Peak - 2-hour round-trip walk through tea fields with spectacular views from the summit
- Visit Demodara Bridge (9 Arch) - historic bridge built during British Colonial period entirely of rock, bricks, and cement without steel, commissioned in 1921
- Ella Mega Zipline Adventure cable car activity - Sri Lanka's first zipline in tea estates, stretches over half a kilometre, slides at 80 kmph with bird's-eye views of the hills

- Day 6Departure from EllaAfter breakfast at your Ella lodge, you'll head directly to Colombo Airport via the highway with no sightseeing stops planned. The drive takes about 4 hours, so you'll have time to relax before your departure. - Meals
