Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho
Your guide picks you up at 8:00 AM for a 2.5-hour drive to My Tho province. Once there, you'll sail by motorboat along the Hau and Tien rivers, watching how local people go about their daily routines. You'll have honey tea and seasonal fruits, then sit down for lunch in a local fruit yard. On the way back, you'll pass the Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the oldest in the area.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
Your hotel picks you up at 8:00 AM for a scenic 3.5-hour drive to Halong Bay. You'll board the cruise at 11:30 AM and get welcomed with seasonal fruit juice. During the sail past the UNESCO World Heritage scenery, you'll have seafood lunch onboard. Then you'll hike Sung Sot Cave, climbing 600 steps to see limestone formations. Halong Bay to Hanoi

You'll sail on a traditional wooden sampan along narrow streams, passing by 3 caves in Tam Coc. Eat local traditional cuisine like mountain goat meat or buffet options. Cycle through peaceful villages and join in farmer activities if you want. You'll return to Hanoi around 7:00 PM.

Your hotel arranges pickup for a tour starting at Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake's shores, where you'll learn about Buddhist symbolism. Then check out One Pillar Pagoda on a lake, and the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first college. In the afternoon, choose between the History Museum or Ethnology Museum.
