Arusha
You'll arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and get transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After checking in, there's a welcome meeting this evening where you'll meet the rest of your group and hear about the safari adventure ahead.

Ngorongoro
This morning you're heading to Mto wa Mbu, a farming community with residents from about 120 different tribes. You'll walk around learning about local history and industry, check out the market, and see how traditional huts are constructed. Lunch with a local family includes banana and rice dishes. After that, you'll make banana leaf art with local artisans before continuing to the Rift Valley escarpment and your lodge.

Serengeti
Start at the Olduvai Gorge Museum and Visitor's Center to learn about human origins and the famous discoveries made by archaeologists Louis and Mary Leakey. After a picnic lunch, you're heading into Serengeti National Park for your first safari, where you'll look for giraffes, lions, and other wildlife across the plains.

Serengeti
You'll spend the full day on morning and afternoon safari drives through Serengeti. Riding in a 4x4 with a pop-up roof, you'll search for wildlife at watering holes where giraffes, zebras, and tiny dik-diks come to drink. If you're lucky, you might spot the Big 5: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and Cape buffalo.

Landmarks/POIs Serengeti National Park - Day 5
Ngorongoro
Start with a morning safari and picnic breakfast out in the savanna, then you're heading toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After lunch at the lodge, a park ranger will guide you along the crater rim so you can see the diverse plants and animals. Later in the afternoon, you'll meet with a local artist for a painting class where you can create your own piece inspired by what you saw.

Ngorongoro
Today you'll descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari through this enormous volcanic caldera. You'll watch for zebra stripes, eland horns, buffalo, wildebeests, and gazelles moving across the grass. There's a picnic lunch within the crater so you can eat while surrounded by incredible wildlife.

Arusha
You're visiting a local coffee farm to see how the 'seed to cup' process works, watch beans get roasted, and taste freshly made coffee. After lunch and a walk through the landscape, you'll head to a Maasai village in the Monduli district. There you'll meet locals and help install a new stove through a G Adventures-supported Clean Cookstoves project. Later, you'll return to Arusha for a farewell dinner to celebrate your trip.
