- JBjose luis· November 14th, 2025Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishAccording to the tour program sent to me, on arrival at the hotel in Larnaca around 02:30 we have to check in and our surprise is that we do not have a reservation until 14:00. Put in contact via whatsapp with the agency Olta travel they tell us that we have not paid for advance check-in at the hotel. Obviously, the program had given us to understand that this was included in the tour and in any case I am not communicated otherwise. In the end I have to pay 100€ extra for the room. The response from the agency in the afternoon is a vague apology. On the other hand, on the last day and at the last moment we have a health emergency and we have to go to the hospital. When the time comes for the transfer to the airport the driver contacts us and explains the situation. He tells us that when we leave the hospital to call him, which I do, and asks us for extra money...Show more

Peter· October 18th, 2025Tour was pleasant but short on the kind of ancient historical information Cyprus has to offer. With multiple cultures, nations, empires, and influences throughout nearly 10k yrs of history, the Tourguide instead chose to emphasize vapid travel industry marketing superlatives, such as “Europe’s most cosmopolitan city” (without even defining that term or citing the source) or “Cyprus’s best restaurant” (which a bit of fact checking failed to verify). When we asked for dates of artifacts/ruins, we got vague responses (e.g. “the Hellenistic era”). The guide spent a lot of time describing the current culture clashes between the Greek and Turkish sides (important too) but at the expense of the ancient history we could have been learning about. Likewise, all of the churches were very similar, and it did not seem necessary to see so many. I had to arrange separate tours to see Kourion and Neolithic sites. The restaurants were almost uniformly mediocre, often serving bland or overcooked meats and fish (with the exception of the Nicosia restaurant). I went to much better, and quite affordable restaurants on my own in Cyprus. They should do a better job there. Finally, the tour co Olta was completely disorganized and in some cases unreasonable. My tour schedule was incorrect (as were many other participants’ too), and my name wasn’t even on the guide’s roster. She didn’t seem surprised. When I told them I didn’t need a return airport transfer, but instead a transfer to Limassol, they wanted to charge me 115 Euros, which even the guide thought was outrageous. Many other participants had much worse logistical problems though. I think you should avoid this tour.Show moreTrip date: October 2025- CWCourtney· October 14th, 2025I think the itinerary was good/ fast paced but as expected. The guide wasn’t good at all! She had no idea of timings, was late, didn’t control the group, gave incorrect information and just wasn’t enjoyable to be around.Show more

I’ll definitely recommend you to friends and will travel with you again!Show moreTrip date: July 2025- ABAnjali· March 29th, 2025Tour was very good, pleasant guide and driver. - CGCheryl· October 31st, 2024The tour was excellent as well as the guide. Since Cyprus is a small country, we were able to stay in the same hotel throughout, which was a bonus. Our group was small (10 in total) so we had opportunity to ask questions etc. (not sure if we were just lucky to have had such a small group). Cyprus is a beautiful country and I would highly recommend this tour.Show moreTrip date: September 2024
Lorna· October 23rd, 2024We were fortunate to be part of a small group of 11. There were 9 of us in our group from Canada and 2 from France. Dimetra, our very congenial and skilled guide, gave the tour in English and French. Our van was comfortable as we travelled out from Larnaca, our base. The attractions, museums, churches, shopping and beach were all carefully chosen and worthwhile. We had some stops at a jewellery and lace making place and halloumi making place,. This was interesting and no pressure to buy. I recommend this tour.Show moreTrip date: September 2024- VJValerie Margaret· October 23rd, 2024Generally very good . Roberto· June 17th, 2024Not very excited about Olta Travel. Lokum tasting boiled down to dropping by a candy store that sells turkish delight. Wine tasting was the worst, from all the seven wines served not even one was worth swallowing (and note that I had tasted very nice Cyprus wine elsewhere), not to mention the sloppiest possible looks of the winery owner that happened to pour the "wines" to us. Lunch quality was good, but poor on Troodos day. As for the guide and the driver, outstanding! as good as it gets!Show moreTrip date: May 2024

Asked on September 28th, 2025I am interested in "Treasures of Cyprus" starting from 2-9 Nov. However, as per the itinerary, since the day earlier (8th Nov) is a free day, I wish to conclude my tour on that day itself and catch a return flight. This means, I will not be using the last day accommodation. May I get any concession on the tour price for this, please?
Olta Travel CyprusOperator•Written September 2025Unfortunately, the accommodation is for 7 nights and you enjoy an special tariff due to this matter. If the booking would be for 6 nights you would pay an standard hotel tariff and therefore the package cost would be more expensive.
