Excellent. This was my 4th trip to Italy and the best one thus far. The tour was the quintessential Italy. Beautiful mountain villages, cost, small cities, fantastic food, wine, olive oil, lemoncello and other liquors that are unique to the Abruzzo and Pulia regions. The highlight was visiting and cooking with Fabrizio's family on their farm and enjoying the feast on the patio surrounded by the olive groves, vineyards and Adriatic sea. Fabrizio is the consummate host.

This tour was simply amazing. They thought and took care of everything! It was wonderful getting to know the real Abruzzo. Through making pasta, harvesting vegetables, herbs, peppers, etc. we got to know the family, the people, and the culture. By the end of the week we were all family. I was ready to give up my career and move to Vasto. It’s not your typical tour where you rush from museum to museum, place to place where you have 15 minutes to look around, take a photo and visit the gift shop. A truly relaxing immersion into the wonderful Italian culture. The views are stunning, the food is fabulous, and the wine amazing and plentiful! Fair warning, you will not to leave.

A wonderful tour so meticulously planned by Fabrizio, who organised the most wonderful, knowledgeable guides. They really made the tour with their local insights. It was a well paced tour where we were taken to some amazing restaurants and places. I would definitely book another tour with this company.

I was a little skeptical when I agreed with my niece to go on this11 day tour. As it turns out it was more than I ever could imagine. Fabrizio is a proud Abruzzese man who envelopes his knowledge, culture, family and friends in his tour. The combination of notable sites and off the beaten path experiences was extraordinary not to mention the unlimited culinary treats and wine were a great combination. As an added benefit Fabrizio took members of my family to do an ancestral journey in a nearby town and were united with a relative we didn't know existed. I cannot adequately express my gratitude and satisfaction with this tour.. Grazie Fabrizio

This trip was fantastic. Fabrizio and Katia were so knowledgeable and extremely attentive to our needs. We explored Abruzzo, Puglia and Matera and enjoyed their unique cuisine , wines, scenery and history. The cooking classes with Fabrizio’s family were so special. The accommodations were excellent, the towns and sites we visited allowed us to experience this region that’s somewhat off the beaten path. It was especially lovely during the holiday season with all their decorations. Highly recommend this trip!

Loved getting off the beaten path. Went to areas during the slightly off season with little crowds. We truly had lovely local guides and meals that reflected the region. We had a cooking lesson and lunch at the tour owners Mom’ house in a rural area. Very warm and welcoming not like some other “cooking” venues I have been on.

Looking back through the photos of the trip provided by Fabrizio and our own, my first reaction is what a wonderful experience we all had. This was the second trip that my wife and I have taken to Italy. On the first we covered all the typical tourist haunts in Venice, Florence, and Rome. Seeing the sites, but mostly missing the human interaction aspect with the people of Italy. This experience was markedly different. It included great regional cooking, outstanding and unhurried sightseeing, and an outstanding host (Fabrizio), and cooking and dinning with his wonderful family and associates. Hats off to Fabrizio for introducing us to the great array of regional culinary delights, small towns and villages, the indigenous flora and fauna within the Abruzzo and Gran Sasso national parks. But more importantly the immersion into Abruzzoian culture, and the fabulous people of this region. Fabrizio was always willing to make every accommodation possible given the constraints on our time and individual energy levels. It was a trip I would do again without hesitation.
