Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll land at Tribhuwan International Airport where someone from the company meets you and handles hotel check-in. After settling in, there's a briefing about the Helambu Gosainkunda Trek that covers meeting points and all the logistics you'll need to know.

- Day 2
Kathmandu
Following breakfast, you'll spend the full day on a guided Kathmandu city tour hitting UNESCO World Heritage sites. You'll walk through local culture and historical spots while trying regional food at lunch. The afternoon gives you time to handle any last-minute shopping and pack for the trek ahead.

- Day 3
Kathmandu to Chisapani
After a 45-minute drive from Kathmandu, your trek starts at Sundarijal in Shivapuri National Park. Your guide takes care of entry permits, and then you'll trek roughly 6 hours through oak and rhododendron forests. You'll cross suspension bridges, pass through Tamang villages and farmland as the trail climbs toward Chisapani.

Chisapani to Kutumsang
This 6-hour trek from Chisapani to Kutumsang takes you through varied terrain with views of Annapurna, Langtang, and Ganesh Himal appearing. The path winds through scattered villages, giving you a real sense of how people live here. You'll stay overnight at a local tea house in Kutumsang with all amenities provided.

Landmarks Kutumsang - Day 5
Kutumsang to Tharepati
Starting after breakfast, you'll trek about 6 hours through rhododendron forests with Langtang mountain range in view. You'll pass local chhortens and stupas and see shepherds with their herds. The harder sections include Yuri Danda ridge and a non-stop 3-hour push up Mere Danda, finishing through pine forest to reach Tharepati.

Landmarks Tharepati - Day 6
Tharepati to Laurebinayak Pass Base Camp
The trek from Tharepati toward Laurebinayak pass base camp takes roughly 7 hours through changing landscapes. Pine and juniper forests give way as you approach the tree line. It's demanding but rewarding, offering wide views of Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Manaslu, Ganesh, and surrounding peaks.

- Day 7
Gosainkunda Lake
You'll trek about 7 hours to reach Laurebinayak La Pass at 4610 meters/15,125 feet, the trek's high point with 360-degree mountain views. The thin air at this altitude takes some adjustment, but the panoramas of peaks, distant villages, and surrounding ridges make it worth it. From there, you'll head to Gosainkunda Lake for the night in this sacred spot.

Gosainkunda
You have a half-day at Gosainkunda Lake with choices to make. If you're up for it, a guided hike to Surya Peak (5145 meters/16,896 feet) gives you views of Annapurna, Ganesh, Manaslu, and more. Otherwise, you can rest and walk around the sacred lake, soaking in the peaceful mountain setting.

Landmarks Surya Peak - Day 9
Gosainkunda to Chandanbari
Descending from Gosainkunda takes about 6 hours down to Chandanbari village. You'll see simpler village life on the Langtang side and get a feel for local traditions and how they differ from what you saw in the Helambu region. You'll stay at a local guest house in Chandanbari overnight.

Chandanbari to Dhunche
Your final trekking day covers roughly 6 hours and is mostly downhill through villages that grow more developed as you approach the district capital. Langtang Lirung remains visible from the trail. By evening, you'll reach Dhunche, a small mountain town where you can clean up and rest before heading back tomorrow.

- Day 11
Dhunche to Kathmandu
After breakfast, you'll board a tourist bus for the roughly 6-hour drive back to Kathmandu. The ride is scenic with villages perched on ridges and deep river valleys below, though the winding hilly roads make it fairly bumpy. This completes your trek experience as you return to the city.
