Itinerary
- Day 1
Flight to Southeast Asia
You'll board your flight to Vietnam this evening. Since it's a night flight, you'll get some sleep on the plane and touch down in Hanoi tomorrow morning.



- Day 2
Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi in the morning and meet up with your guide. After getting settled at your hotel, you'll head out around 2:30 pm for a city tour. The itinerary includes the Ethnological Museum, the Temple of Literature, and time wandering around the historic Old Quarter. Later, you'll grab dinner at a local restaurant.

- Day 3
Hanoi - Mai Chau
After breakfast, you'll visit a social project that supports people affected by Agent Orange. From there, you'll travel through mountainous landscapes heading toward Mai Chau. You'll hike from Tong Dau through the terrain to reach the villages of Na Tang and Cha Long. The evening wraps up with a traditional dance performance put on by villagers.

- Day 4
Mai Chau
Following breakfast, you'll transfer to Mai Ha to hike toward the mountain villages of Kha and Te. The trek takes you through primary forests, past limestone cliffs and terraced fields, and through traditional stilt houses where the Thai minority lives. You'll walk along narrow concrete paths across the fields, reaching your accommodation in about 1.5 hours. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

- Day 5
Kenh Ga - Tam Coc
You'll catch a bus to Kenh Ga and then cycle 27 km (roughly 3 hours) through limestone peaks, passing by Hoa Lu temple on your way to Tam Coc. In the afternoon, you'll board a traditional Vietnamese sampan and spend about 2 hours rowing through caves and past rice fields.

- Day 6
Halong Bay
You'll travel to Halong Bay and board a traditional junk to explore the area. The day includes visiting famous caves, climbing Ti Top mountain for views, and swimming in the bay (weather permitting). The ship's chef prepares fresh seafood for your meals. You'll spend the night aboard the junk.

- Day 7
Halong Bay - Dong Hoi
You'll have breakfast on deck and practice Tai Chi before heading back to Hanoi around noon. In Hanoi, you'll watch a water puppet show at the Water Puppet Theater, then experience Bia hoi, a local drinking tradition. In the evening, you'll board an air-conditioned night train bound for Dong Hoi, which takes 8 to 10 hours.

Dong Hoi - Phong Nha National Park
You'll arrive early morning in Dong Hoi and take a bus to Phong Nha National Park. After breakfast at a local restaurant, you'll start exploring the caves with proper hiking gear. The hike begins at km 15 of the Ho Chi Minh trail, moving through grassy hills with large trees toward Dau Rai. You'll continue hiking along Tien Stream uphill to Nuoc Lan Cave and then to Chay Lap, where you'll stay in simple wooden houses surrounded by limestone rocks.

- Day 9
Phong Nha - Hue
After breakfast, you'll visit Hang Thien Duong, also called Paradise Cave, which was discovered in 2005 and stretches 31 km long. You'll explore the impressive white crystal-clear stalactites and formations as you make your way through. Then you'll drive toward Hue, arriving in the late afternoon. You'll check in and settle at your hotel.

- Day 10
Hue
You'll take a boat trip on the Perfume River with a stop at the famous Thien Mu Pagoda. From there, you'll visit the imperial tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, which contains over 50 monuments. The route takes you through rice fields, orchards, communal houses, and a cemetery to reach Thuy Bieu village for lunch. In the village, you'll enjoy a foot bath with medicinal herbs and a foot massage. The day ends with a visit to the imperial citadel in Hue's center.

You'll drive along the Mandarin Road toward Hoi An, crossing the Hai Van Pass and taking in the views of white sandy beaches and forests below. A stop at Marble Mountain lets you climb for panoramic views over the sea and Da Nang. Later in the evening, you'll arrive in Hoi An's old town.

Hoi An
You have a free day to enjoy Hoi An on your own. The city is known for its canals and well-preserved old town mixing architectural styles from different periods, including Chinese shophouses, wooden temples, colorful French colonial buildings, and typical Vietnamese narrow townhouses with artistic facades. The Japanese Bridge, a covered bridge with a pagoda, is one of the city's main landmarks.

You'll fly south to Saigon and transfer to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam's rice-growing region. Once you reach Cai Be, you'll settle into a charming resort on the Mekong River banks. In the afternoon, you'll walk through lush orchards, check out a local pagoda, and see the old house of Ba Kiet.

This day is free for you to do as you like. Depending on your flight time, you can shop for last-minute souvenirs and reflect on your time in Vietnam. Hotel checkout happens at midday. You'll be transferred to the airport according to your flight schedule.
