There were people on the bust up to early 80s and the tour director reached out to them and made adjustment for everyone in time and extra information. It really was a passionate trip and the tour director Fabio and the bus driver knew and loved Sicily. Great local guides. Everything was a joy. - Eempire58liveca· July 13th, 2018We did this trip in October 2017 and overall found a lot of things lacking. Having done 9 Insight/Trafalgar tours this was just poor. Previous to this I would wholeheartedly recommend the group. After this I would say anything but, The optional meals in the pass all enjoyable, these not so much. Three optional meals and all were pork with some downright poor wines being served.(In Italy no less) There was a baggage issue on air transfer from Catania to Malta where told 80 Euros for extra bag only to become 250 Euros because of the way the tickets were purchased. Filed a report with my travel agent who forwarded the complaint to Insight, she has yet to hear a reply 10 months later, I sent email directly and received a phone call from insight within 5 hours saying they were busy and short staffed. Four months later no further action means this company does not care for the customer and takes the money and run. Accidents and mistakes do happen and conversations can address these, but no conversation and avoidance is just plain BAD customer service.Show moreTrip date: October 2017
