    Asked on July 22nd, 2024

What do you need to bring? Is a sleeping bag included? Are hiking poles not included? How cold will it be during the night? How difficult is the track? Do you need hiking boots or can you do it in running shoes? Can I have a tent for myself, without sharing with other guests? Can I have a free cancellation option in case I cannot make it on time to Huaraz, or in case I am injured and cannot hike in the mountains? Where is the meeting/end point in Huaraz?

You need to bring all of your personal equipment + Sleeping bag. We can always rent you the sleeping bag in case is needed. None of them are included. It gets very cold, it is one of the coldest weathers you can find in Peru. You will need to bring good equipment for the nights. From a Scale of 1 to 5, it is a 4.5. The huayhuash circuit is one of most strenuous treks. Hiking boots. You need to be very equipped. Yes! You can have a tent for yourself. The trip can be canceled 45 days in advance. After that, a full payment will be retained. In the 'Hotel Andino' for the briefing two days before, then, we will pick you up in your hotel as long as it is in Huaraz City.

I would love to do the 6days trek exactly as you described. However, I can only make it when I departure on the 6th of april 2024. Do you also offer this tour starting from the 6th of april?

    • ExplorandesOperatorWritten February 2024

Sadly, we do not have any departure opened for the 6th of April, nor any of them near to that date with passengers. We usually need two passengers to open a departure.
