Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
Your guide will be waiting at Cairo Airport with a sign when you land. From there, it's a transfer to your hotel where you can check in after 1:00 PM. The afternoon and evening are free to rest up after your flight and get settled.
- Day 2
Cairo to Luxor
Breakfast starts at 8:00 AM, then your guide picks you up for a full day exploring Cairo. You'll spend about 3 hours at the Egyptian Museum, after which you head to the Pyramids of Giza. From there, it's on to the Sphinx and Valley Temple with quick stops at the Papyrus Museum and an oils shop if you want to browse. Later in the evening, you'll transfer to the train station and board the sleeper train to Luxor at 7:45 PM, arriving at 6:00 AM the next morning.

Luxor
After arriving at Luxor Train Station at 6:00 AM, your guide meets you for an air-conditioned tour. You'll explore the West Bank, also called the City of the Dead, visiting the Valley of the Kings where 63 registered tombs are located (plus 3 recent discoveries). Next comes Hatshepsut Temple, a striking terrace-style structure carved into a cliff, followed by the Memnon Colossi statues. You'll cross the Nile to the East Bank for lunch, then tour Karnak Temples, the largest ancient temple complex in Egypt. That evening, you transfer to Luxor Airport for a flight back to Cairo, then head to your hotel for the final night.
