Itinerary
- Day 1
Cancun
You'll arrive in Cancun and have time to settle into your accommodation. This afternoon, check out the local shopping scene at Market 28, Plaza Las Americas, and Puerto Cancun if you want to browse Mexican clothing boutiques and accessories. Later, join your group for a welcome dinner by the pool or on the beach with drinks and beers to meet everyone on the trip.

Isla Holbox
Take a ferry out to Isla Holbox, a car-free island with pristine beaches and no vehicles at all. You'll have the day to relax and explore, checking out the tropical marine life and lounging in sea hammocks. The funky beach bars have live music if you want to get out, or you can just chill and gear up for the Yucatan adventure ahead.

Landmarks/POIs Isla Holbox - Day 3
Isla Holbox
After a morning to relax, you'll board a boat to explore three different spots: Bird Island with its unique bird species, Eye of the Water cenote featuring that bright turquoise freshwater pool surrounded by mangroves, and Passion Island known for its pink flamingos. By evening, grab beers on the boat and watch the sunset, and if you're lucky, you might catch bioluminescence glowing in the ocean after dark.

Isla Holbox to Merida
You'll leave Holbox early and head to Chichen Itza, one of the seven wonders. A guided tour walks you through the ancient Mayan ruins and explains the civilization. After that, stop at Cenote Yokdzonot for a swim in the turquoise water. By early evening, you'll travel to Merida and get an orientation walk around the city to see what's there.

Landmarks/POIs Chichen Itza Cenote Yokdzonot - Day 5
Merida
Cycle between three cenotes with a lunch break somewhere along the route. You'll swim and hang out at each location. Back in Merida, take a few hours to rest, then it's time for a Mexican feast with tacos and burritos. The evening includes a tequila and mezcal tasting, followed by salsa dancing at bars with live music.

- Day 6
Merida to Bacalar
Leave Merida by minibus and head to Bacalar, arriving in the early afternoon. From there, go to Bacalar Lagoon with its incredibly clear blue water. Spend your time lounging on the sand, kayaking or paddleboarding to explore, or just taking a dip to cool off. When evening comes, relax by the water and watch the sunset with optional beers.

Bacalar
Check out the famous 7 Color Lagoon with its distinct shades of turquoise, blue, and deep indigo created by the clear waters and white sandy bottom. You'll stop at several spots throughout the day for swimming, photos, and lunch. The color variations throughout the lagoon are pretty special.

Bacalar to Tulum
Travel by minibus to Tulum, a trendy beachside town. Spend your afternoon exploring around town or relaxing on the white sandy beaches. Later in the evening, meet up with your group for dinner and drinks somewhere in town.

Tulum
What you do depends on your departure date. If your trip is before November 2025, you'll visit the Tulum archaeological site in the Riviera Maya with ancient Mayan ruins overlooking blue ocean and white sandy beaches, then swim and grab cocktails at beach lounges. Trips from November 2025 onward take it easier this morning to recharge, then head to the beach for swimming and cocktails at beach lounges with that same ocean backdrop.

Landmarks/POIs Tulum Archaeological Site - Day 10
Tulum to Playa del Carmen
Travel to Playa del Carmen, a popular beachside resort town. Spend your time shopping for souvenirs or picking up personal treats, or just relax on the beach to keep that summer glow going. Your group will gather for a farewell dinner and drinks in this lively town to wrap up the trip.

Playa del Carmen
Check out and depart. The trip ends here, and assistance is available if you need help arranging onward travel or getting home. Take time to think back on all the memories and friendships you made throughout your Mexico adventure.
