- Dawn· April 1st, 2024I have no complaint except for one incident, which was taken care of. The reason I'm sharing it is so it doesn't happen to the next customer. We were scheduled for a 2h husky safari from 14:00-16:30. From your office we we're scheduled for a transfer at 16:45 to Arctic Snow Hotel. Their wasn't enough time between so we were without a transfer to our hotel. We called ahead but they didn't wait. Our sweet tour guide drove us to the hotel and helped us arrange a new dinner reservations for a later time. Other then that everything was great.Show more

We don't have set up departure dates for Christmas 2024 or 2025 so unfortunately it's too early for a waitlist but I'm sure there won't be any problem with availability if you book this tour 12-14 months prior to the departure.

Unfortunately our family tours do not allow for solo travelers as the accommodations are really designed for families traveling with children. We have a number of great tours that DO allow for solo adults such as our Aurora and Glass Igloo explorer and the cost including single supplement is 2715 EUR.

Asked on September 6th, 2022We are very interested in this excursion from Miami, Florida in the USA. We are 2 families with a 9 year old that will turn 10 on March 22 and an 11 year old. We wanted to see if we could add 2 igloos for 1 night. If possible, igloos with a sauna like ones that we saw from Arctic Fox Igloos. Would that be possible?

As our Finland itineraries are set itineraries we are unable to make any substitutions or changes to the itinerary. So we wouldnt be able to organise a stay in an igloo unfortunately.

Would you happen to have any suggestions? We are interested in doing the 5 day tour starting March the 20th and we would just leave 1 day later or arrive 1 day before from the airport. I also wanted to know what hotel would be included in this excursion and want to make sure that there will be places to eat around the hotel.

Unfortunately, our Lapland Family Explorer – 5 day tour is designed for families only (including grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who'd like to come along). As long as you're travelling with a child under the age of 18, you're a family in our eyes.

Included in the price of this tour, the hotel we use on our Lapland Family Explorer - 5 day tour is the Ounasvaara Lakituvat Chalets in Rovaniemi for 4 nights. Modern, two-bedroom chalets come complete with fireplaces, open-plan living rooms and fully equipped kitchens. Each chalet also boasts a private sauna, to warm you up after a day of wintery adventures, and it's not uncommon to see a herd of reindeer in the chalet yard.

We do offer our 5% Early Bird Group Discount for groups of 4 or more travellers. It is ONLY applicable for group tours that are 6 days or more and with a minimum of 6 months in advance of travel. Currently we have a 10% off sale for departures between now and 29 Mar 2022. Price per person with the discount is $1049 in a twin share room or $1265 per person in a single room.
