- ATAmos Owen· February 28th, 2023Was not met on arrival in Cambodia as promised and after searching waiting and having to call agency in Vietnam, I had to take my own taxi to hotel, which defeats the purpose of booking a tour. Original hotel they booked in Phnom Penh was far from riverside and most sights, so I had to ask for switch. Tour guide there was barely understandable in English and did not understand questions asked. Guides at Angkor and Tonle Sap were somewhat better though. Tours were gruelling in covering half-a-dozen sites each day in blazing sun. Since meals were pre-paid, I did not have the choice that others did who were paying on their own. Bus between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap had a some passengers who kept coughing all the way and the conductor onboard did nothing about it even when appealed to, except to say to me 'don't worry'. Subsequently I came down with a flu which affected my return travel and recovery took awhile. Hotel in Siem Reap was also far from downtown except near the museum, and was a large impersonal one that catered for large tour groups mainly from East Asia and Eastern Europe. This is not a group tour but an individual one where one is fitted into different groups on different days run by local firms. It would be preferable to use a agency in Cambodia rather than one in Vietnam with no presence locally. Unless totally inexperienced at international travel, one could quite easily organise such a tour on one's own, pace the site visits better and enjoy greater self-selectivity, and all at almost half the price.Show more

Asked on September 23rd, 2022I'm looking for a tour to Cambodia for the period 13 Nov - 18 Nov. I saw your tour Cambodia Impressive 5 Days and that you have a departure for 13 Nov and 14 Nov (ending on 17 or 18 Nov). Do you already have bookings for these dates? Is it possible to book this tour with the option to share a room and therefore have the price of EUR 579? Maybe you can ask the person that already booked whether he/she is open to that to have a more attractive pricing. I'm asking because I'm on a budget.

We have bookings already but most are couples, or someone would like to stay single room and another would like to stay budget 4*. I cannot find any person to share the room with you. As your budget I suggest you book this package stay 2* hotel, you will not share room with anyone and the price $895 (U.S dollar) for 4 nights and all hotels are good quality.
