Itinerary
- Day 1KathmanduYou'll land at Kathmandu International Airport where your tour representative meets you. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the city and get a feel for the place. It's a good chance to adjust to the time difference and explore some neighborhoods on your own. - Meals

- Day 2KathmanduFollowing breakfast, you'll spend the full day on a guided tour through Kathmandu's major sites. Durbar Square comes first, where you can see temples and historic Newari architecture up close. Then you'll head up to Swoyambhunath Stupa, which sits high on a hill with great valley views. After that, you'll see Pashupatinath Temple along the Bagmati River before finishing at Boudhanath, one of the world's largest Buddhist stupas. - Meals

- Day 3Patan - Bhaktapur - NagarkotAfter breakfast you'll check out and head to Patan, known for its fine arts. You'll see Durbar Square, Krishna Temple, and the Golden Temple there. The Tibetan Handicraft Centre gives you a chance to watch carpet-making before you drive roughly 90 minutes toward Nagarkot. You'll stop in Bhaktapur along the way to check out its Durbar Square, temples, and pottery center. By evening you'll reach Nagarkot. - Meals

- Day 4NagarkotGet up early at Nagarkot village, which sits at 2,175m elevation. You'll catch the sunrise and see panoramic mountain views stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way to Mt. Everest and Kanchenjunga in the east. Other peaks visible include Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, Shisha Pangma, Dorje Lakpa, and Gauri Shanker. The village has a small Mahakali Temple on a hilltop that's worth a quick visit. - Meals

- Day 5Nagarkot to KathmanduAfter breakfast, you'll take a scenic drive back down to Kathmandu and check into your hotel. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city on your own or browse local markets for gifts and souvenirs. Later this evening, you'll head to a traditional Nepali restaurant for a farewell dinner that includes a cultural program with music and dancing. - Meals
