Yes you are able to opt for a sharing option. In this case you will be required to pay USD 750 to allow you to share a tent with someone else. The group has a max of 7pax. This tour takes people who are between 12 and 90 years old.

Is it possible to join the tour from 5th sep?

We do not have anyone booked for the 5th, however we can take you alone, you will be required to pay single supplement fee.

Will you pick me up if I stay near Hosea Kutako International Airport?

Yes we can pick you up at extra cost.

Can we be picked up at the airport, and then dropped off at the end of the tour at Heja Lodge? Is we camp out, do you provide the equipment?

We do provide the camping equipment. If you have your own sleeping bag, please bring it along, if not we can provide for you. We can pick you from the Airport and drop you off at Heja Lodge at extra cost (NAD 400 one way)

The campsite was pretty nice, but it’s quite a bit outside of Sossusvlei, so you won’t get to see sunrise or sunset at the park. The guide complained the whole time about dealing with tourists and about pretty much everything to do with his job! I’ve done many tours in my lifetime and I’ve never had a tour guide who was so unhappy and unenthusiastic.. He appeared to just want to do the minimum required. He’s a good guy, just ill-suited for the job.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 10th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 10th, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Discovery Transfers and Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Discovery Transfers and Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Discovery Transfers and Tours" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
