- Day 1
Catania
You'll arrive at Catania Airport and head straight to an exclusive wine estate tucked into Mount Etna's slopes. After settling into your boutique vineyard retreat, you'll kick back with a sunset welcome aperitivo. There's artisanal cheese, volcanic wines, and views looking out toward the Ionian Sea to take in.

Mount Etna
This morning you're doing hands-on grape picking at an award-winning Etna winery, learning the traditional vendemmia harvest ritual. From there you'll tour the cellar and taste Etna Rosso, Etna Bianco, and sparkling wines. A gourmet lunch with wine pairings happens right in the vineyard, and then you'll wander through the medieval lanes of Castiglione di Sicilia for scenic views.

Mount Etna to Noto
You'll travel south through golden countryside to learn about Nero d'Avola, Sicily's signature grape. At a stylish estate near Noto, you can do a panoramic wine tasting while looking out over the vines. If you're interested, there's time to check out Noto's UNESCO-listed baroque center before heading to your rural wine relais or elegant masseria in South Sicily.

South Sicily
Today focuses on Sicily's only DOCG appellation. You'll visit a family-owned winery producing Cerasuolo di Vittoria, a delicate blend of Frappato and Nero d'Avola. Then it's over to a traditional farm for cheese and olive oil tasting where you'll learn about centuries-old local traditions. There's an optional hands-on cooking session or you can do a rustic dinner with Sicilian families instead.

Catania Departure
Stop by a local pasticceria to experience authentic Sicilian cannolo with fresh ricotta and pistachio dust, filled right in front of you. Then you'll get a private transfer to Catania Airport to head home, or you can optionally extend your stay in Syracuse, Modica, or a coastal wellness retreat if you'd like more time.
