Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara
You'll start with a complimentary night at After 40 hotel in Nairobi if you're not already staying there. At 8 AM, a driver picks you up for the journey to Masai Mara, driving through the Great Rift Valley where you'll get views across the landscape. After lunch at the camp and checking in, you'll head out that afternoon for your first game drive before returning for dinner at the tented camp.

Masai Mara
This full day focuses on searching for the Big Five across Masai Mara. Depending on the season (July through November), you might see the wildebeest migration with over 1.5 million animals moving through. You'll spend time along the Mara River banks with picnic lunches packed as you explore the park throughout the day.

Masai Mara to Naivasha
You'll leave Masai Mara in the morning and drive toward Naivasha, stopping for lunch at a travelers hotel along the way. After arriving, you'll get out on the water for an afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha where you can see hippos and watch for birds. Horse riding is also available if you're interested in doing that instead.

Naivasha to Namanga
Departing at 7 AM, you'll head to Hell's Gate Park where you'll choose between biking or walking through the park to see animals up close. You'll walk down into the gorges to see the geological features and land formations. Lunch happens at Kifaru Restaurant, and then you'll drive to Namanga, a border town, for the night.

Namanga to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, you'll drive to Arusha and join a group heading to Lake Manyara National Park, which takes about 2 hours to reach. Following lunch, you'll spend 2 to 3 hours on a game drive through this compact but scenic park as the afternoon progresses into evening. You'll finish the day at the campsite for dinner.

Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro
Starting at 7 AM, you'll drive toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch stop along the route. By evening, you'll be at the campsite in this vast volcanic crater, home to the Big Five and large herds of wildebeests and zebras, particularly during migration season from July through November.

Ngorongoro to Serengeti
You'll depart at 7 AM driving toward Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch break during the journey. By evening, you're settled at the campsite in the Serengeti, where massive herds of wildebeests and zebras migrate through during their annual movement, depending on the season.

Arusha to Nairobi
You'll board a shuttle bus to Nairobi after breakfast, arriving around 3 PM. Your driver will drop you off at your chosen hotel or directly at the airport, wrapping up your safari experience.
