Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha
You'll land at Kilimanjaro Airport and get driven to your lodge to settle in. Once you're ready, head into Arusha Town for any last-minute supplies or souvenirs before heading out on your first game drive. Tarangire National Park is where you'll spend the afternoon, and you can expect to see large elephant herds roaming around the baobab trees scattered across the landscape. Plan on about 3 to 4 hours for game viewing during this drive.

Serengeti National Park
The drive takes you through farmland in the Karatu region and into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before you drop down into Serengeti National Park. Once you arrive at the Seronera area, you've got the afternoon to head out for a game drive. This section of the park tends to have some of the richest wildlife concentrations around. Set aside about 3 to 4 hours for viewing during this afternoon outing.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Start early for a morning game drive in the Serengeti, then travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll stop at Olduvai Gorge, a significant archaeological site where researchers found important fossil skulls connected to early human evolution. The morning game drive and gorge exploration will take around 2 to 4 hours total for wildlife viewing.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
You'll descend more than 600 meters into Ngorongoro Crater for an early morning game drive. The crater floor holds wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elephants, lions, and flamingos around Lake Magadi. Expect to spend 3 to 4 hours viewing wildlife here. Later in the afternoon, you'll get driven back to Arusha for your final night or to catch your airport transfer.
