Itinerary
- Day 1Johannesburg to BulembuLand in Johannesburg and start heading toward Bulembu in Swaziland. You can either drive from JNB Airport or catch a flight to Nelspruit to cut down travel time. If your arrival allows some daylight, there's a chance to get a hike in during the afternoon. Settle in for the night at your accommodations in Bulembu. - Meals

- Day 2Bulembu to Rorke's DriftAn early morning hike is available if you're interested before traveling to Rorke's Drift. Once there, a qualified guide meets you and walks through the history of the Isandlwana battlefields. This is where British and Zulu Kingdom forces clashed on January 22, 1879, during the Anglo-Zulu War. It's significant historical ground with plenty to take in. - Meals

- Day 3Rorke's Drift to EstcourtSpend your morning on a half-day guided tour of Rorke's Drift, then drive to Estcourt to get ready for the Drakensberg hiking portion. Your qualified mountain guide will be waiting to brief you on the plan for tomorrow. You'll camp at Estcourt for the night. - Meals

- Day 4Estcourt to Mafadi SummitGear up at Injasuthi Tented Camp and tackle a challenging hike to Little Berg's summit. Mafadi sits at 3,451 meters above sea level right on the Lesotho border, and in Zulu it means 'satisfied dog'. This is a long hiking day that pushes physically, and you'll sleep at camp on the mountain. - Meals

- Day 5Mafadi Escarpment AscentContinue from camp toward the escarpment summit using Judge Pass. Expect a tough day with roughly 1,000 meters of elevation gain over just 3 kilometers of steep climbing. The payoff comes when you reach the top and see the views spread out before you. Camp again on the mountain overnight. - Meals

- Day 6Mafadi Summit - South Africa's Highest PointMake the final climb to South Africa's highest point at 3,456 meters above sea level. Once up there, settle in and take in the scenery with KwaZulu-Natal province below and the Mountain Kingdom surrounding you. Another night on the mountain at your camp. - Meals

 Landmarks/POIs Mafadi Peak 
- Day 7Descent from Mafadi to DurbanWork your way down from the peak, taking the whole day to carefully descend the steep slopes back to base camp. After arriving at base, you'll get a transfer to either Durban Airport or your hotel in Durban. The tour concludes there and you're set for whatever comes next on your journey. - Meals
