Itinerary
- Day 1
Waingapu
You'll land at Waingapu Airport in East Sumba where your guide meets you. After that, it's a transfer to your hotel to settle in before things get going tomorrow.
- Day 2
Puru Kambera Beach
Breakfast at the hotel kicks off the day, then you head to a traditional Sumbanese village to see how Ikat Tenun textiles get made. Next comes Tanggedu waterfall, which involves a 20-minute flat walk and then 15 minutes climbing stairs to reach the top. The views make it worth it. Later you'll stop at Puru Kambera Savannah where horses and cattle roam around, and you can just hang out. Lunch happens here, and after that you've got time at either Puru Kambera Beach or Walakiri Beach before heading back.

Bukit Wairinding - Lai Popu Waterfall - Praijing Village
The journey heads from East Sumba toward the west, starting at Bukit Wairinding for views over rolling green hills. Then it's on to Lai Popu Waterfall through scenic countryside. The waterfall requires about a 15-minute hike and you'll cross a bamboo bridge to get there. After that you'll visit Praijing, a traditional village on a hillside where you can walk around and talk with people who live there. A lunch box gets provided during the day.

Weekuri Lake - Mandorak Beach - Lendongara Hill
After breakfast, you head to Ratenggaro village in the Kodi area, known for its tall traditional roofs built using old methods that can hold up to 50 family members each. Then it's to Weekuri Lake where the water is clear and you can swim or check out the rocks and reefs with ocean views nearby. You'll have lunch there. Later you go to Mandorak Beach with its big rock formations and clear water. The day ends at Lendongara Hill where you watch the sunset before returning to your hotel.
