This trip is perfect for anyone who wants to see Vietnam’s highlights without the stress of planning everything themselves. I loved that we got to see both the big cities and the countryside. The homestay in Sapa was a very special experience. I also really appreciated that the company supports children and environmental projects. It made me feel like my trip had a positive impact.

After thoroughly researching the available options I chose to book the "Best Of Vietnam In 14 Days" package offered by "Realistic Asia". I made my booking via TourRadar's booking site. TourRadar is an extremely helpful Tour broker which enables easy comparisons of multiple tour options for worldwide destinations. After being assigned to Edna as my contact person from Realistic Asia, the process became a breeze. Communication in English was perfect. Edna was receptive to all my requirements, requests and inquiries in a professional but friendly manner and all matters relating to our tour were satisfactorily addressed. The real value of working with Realistic, became apparent upon arrival in Hanoi. Logistics were perfect, punctuality was absolute, tours and guides were perfect and accommodation as promised. Edna was the best, she maintained contact with us on a daily basis to make sure that everything was going well and was very attentive to even our slightest grumble,, making sure that it was corrected immediately and not repeated. I will definitely book my next vacation with Realistic and make ensure that Edna is our agent.

Recently returned from the 14 Day Best of Vietnam tour and I must say I am "6 star" impressed with Realistic Asia business and logistics process. Traveling to a country first time where you don't speak the language and the "driving habits" are exciting, nearly every block of it, I want to thank and complement the focus my agent Thang put on every aspect of my trip. From early in the pre trip process to my ride to the airport on departure day, he responded to, answered and addressed every travel detail.

I have another question. I have two friends that are booked on this tour for 3 star hotels. If I am in a 5 star hotel, would we all be in the same group for the tours?

    • Realistic AsiaOperatorWritten November 2025

For your question, yes I can arrange for you and your friends to join the same group tours although staying in different hotels. During this Best Of Vietnam In 14 Days tour, you will join the group tours in Vietnam (group size maybe 12-16 people). The group tour is NOT that you share with the same group from the beginning till the end. Most of our tour is a partial group tour in which you will have different groups for excursion at each place, but airport pick up/drop off and accommodation are private, just join a group on days you have a tour.

Our group tour is only valid with English-speaking guide. If you want to make the trip with Spanish-speaking guide, you need to make a completely private tour, this will make the price be much higher. Please consider and let me know if you want to make it as private tour with Spanish-speaking guide

    • Realistic AsiaOperatorWritten October 2025

If you want to see the village, the best way is walking. You can take a car to transfer from your hotel to the point of the lunch, then join the trekking in the afternoon to the homestay.

Which month at year end is the best one to make this first visit, excluding the Christmas period in December? Are Vietnam Airlines safe?

    • Realistic AsiaOperatorWritten August 2025

From October to April is the ideal period to discover the highlights in Vietnam. Please avoid travelling from 17 Feb to 25 Feb; this is the Tet Lunar New Year. Vietnam Airlines is a well-regarded airline in Southeast Asia.

Can you confirm that this itinerary includes the floating markets?

    • Realistic AsiaOperatorWritten August 2025

It's possible to do Fansipan cable car and Golden Bridge in this package; however, the itinerary will be changed, such as removing a trekking day tour in Sapa. This trip doesn't include the floating market; you need to add an extra day in the Mekong Delta to have time there.
