Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo to Siwa Oasis
You'll depart Cairo at 6:00 AM and head west through the desert toward the coast. The first stop is Alamein, where you'll spend time learning about the significant World War II battles that took place here. From there, continue along the North Coast to Marsa Matrouh, a bay with nice views before pressing further inland. The drive takes you into the Western Desert, and by evening you'll arrive at Siwa Oasis. After checking into your hotel, dinner and overnight accommodation await.

Siwa Oasis
Following breakfast, you'll explore Siwa's main historical sites and natural features. Start at the Oracle Temple of Amun, the same place where Alexander the Great was declared son of Zeus centuries ago. Next, head to the Mountain of the Dead to see the rock-cut tombs carved into the hillside. Walk through Shali Fortress to get panoramic views across the entire oasis. Later in the afternoon, you'll head to Cleopatra's Spring, a natural hot spring where you can relax in the warm waters. Return to your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Siwa Oasis
After breakfast, you're heading to Shiatta Lake, a saltwater lake where white salt crystals create a striking contrast against turquoise water. It's worth spending time here for photos and to walk along the shores. In the afternoon, a 4x4 vehicle takes you into the Great Sand Sea to reach Bir Wahed, a natural hot spring located in the middle of the desert. You'll soak in the warm waters as the sun sets over the golden dunes surrounding you. Later, head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight rest.

Siwa Oasis
This day focuses on Siwa's quieter, less-visited spots and local culture. After breakfast, stroll through the palm groves and olive orchards that cover much of the oasis floor. Then explore the salt lakes, which have clear water and bright white shores. You'll pass through traditional villages where you can meet residents and see how people live in this remote oasis community. The afternoon brings free time to relax at one of Siwa's natural springs before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Siwa Oasis to Cairo
On your final morning in Siwa, you'll have breakfast and then check out from your hotel. The long drive back begins, taking you across the desert and along the Mediterranean coast toward Cairo. During the drive, you'll have chances to take in the desert and coastal landscapes one last time. Upon arrival in Cairo, you'll be transferred to your chosen destination or directly to the airport for your departure.
