Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
You'll arrive in Nairobi and meet your group before heading out to Ol Pejeta Conservancy on the plains near Mt. Kenya. The drive takes you through open landscape to your luxury tented camp positioned by a water hole. Settle in and get ready for an early start tomorrow when you'll track lions across the conservancy.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy
This morning you'll join the Exploring Lions Project and work on conservation efforts, tracking lions and collecting data that helps researchers understand population trends. Later you'll visit the endangered species enclosure where the world's last two northern white rhinos live. The team there will walk you through the protection efforts focused on Africa's declining lion populations.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy
You'll meet the wildlife protection squads and their antipoaching dogs, then take part in a ranching activity that shows how cattle management and lion conservation can work together on grasslands. After that, you'll see predator-proof bomas built to protect livestock. An afternoon safari drive with your guide lets you spot animals in their habitat, and you'll also stop at the equator line for photos.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy to Nairobi
The drive to Southern Kenya takes about 4 hours with a stop to view the Great Rift Valley stretching across the landscape. You'll have lunch at Brackenhurst botanic gardens and meet with Plants for Life International to learn about the region's plant diversity and conservation work. From there, it's back to your lodge in Nairobi for the evening.

Nairobi
Start your day at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust learning about orphaned baby elephants rescued from the wild and how they're cared for. Next, head to the Giraffe Center to see endangered Rothschild giraffes and understand their protection programs. In the afternoon, you'll tour Kazuri Beads and meet the women who create handmade jewelry from volcanic clay as part of this empowerment initiative.

Nairobi to Mara Naboisho Conservancy
You'll travel to Mara Naboisho Conservancy, a 50,000-acre private wilderness that sits right next to Masai Mara National Reserve. Check into your luxury tented camp surrounded by acacia forest. As evening approaches, head out for a sunset game drive to see what wildlife comes out during golden hour.

Mara Naboisho Conservancy
Your day includes morning and evening game drives with breakfast served out in the bush during the morning outing and a sun-downer drink at dusk. Between drives, you'll visit the Maa Trust where Maasai women create traditional beaded jewelry and crafts. It's a chance to see their work and learn about the bead-making traditions in this region.

Mara Naboisho Conservancy
During your morning game drive, you'll help collect data on animal populations using conservancy tools to track wildlife trends. Later in the evening, a Maasai herder will take you on a 30-minute walk through the bush to reach a traditional boma. You'll spend time there with the community, learning to milk cows and experiencing how families live their daily lives.

Mara Naboisho Conservancy
Head out early for a game drive searching for lions, giraffes, and cheetahs across the conservancy. During the day, you'll help remove invasive vegetation that doesn't benefit wildlife, then plant acacia seeds to restore habitat for the animals. An evening game drive follows, and your trip wraps up with a farewell dinner celebrating the wildlife and conservation work you've done.

After breakfast at camp, you'll say goodbye to the staff and drive back to Nairobi for your flight home. If you've arranged a beach extension, you can also continue on to Zanzibar Island instead.
