What people love about Japan Tours in September
- Japan Express – Osaka to Tokyo
Meiji presented Japanese culture excellently; led with patience, care, practicality!
- 9 Days Splendid Japan Deluxe with Nagoya(4 star hotels)
The tour was really only 6/7 days. I If you didn't do any of the optional tours on offer you only had a guide for 4 days! Having said that the options to Hiroshima and the day tour around Tokyo were very good. The accommodation was very good although the rooms were small. Our guide, Yusuke, was excellent. He spoke very good English and had a very broad knowledge of Japanese history and culture. We loved Japan. ?
- Japan Discovery - 15 Days
The tour was well organized and our guide Suzanne was very helpful to make sure that everybody on the tour is comfortable. For 15 days trip, we had 2 free days to explore ourself. My suggestion would be to add one more free day to relax. Also, the trip ended in Tokyo with only one day to explore. Having a guided tour in Tokyo added to the package would help in addition to a free exploration in Tokyo

What special festivals and events can I experience in Japan during September?
Japan's September calendar features notable celebrations like the Kishiwada Danjiri Festival in Osaka where teams race elaborately decorated wooden floats through narrow streets. These autumn festivals mark the beginning of the fall season with traditional moon viewing parties gathering momentum across temple grounds. According to TourRadar travelers "The festivals in September added such a special touch to our trip through Japan."

September offers comfortable conditions to explore Kyoto's most visited temples including Kinkaku-ji and Fushimi Inari without peak summer crowds. The towering stalks of Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and the slopes of Mount Fuji showcase early signs of autumn.
