Reviews of South Korea Family Tours
- Korea Family Adventure: 9 Days of Unforgettable MemoriesInvolves a lot of walking
- South Korea Highlights 7D/6NThe tour was a wonderful introduction to Korean culture, Korean food and the country itself. It left me wanting to go back to see and explore more.
- 2025 Discover Korea in 7days: A Curated All-Inclusive ExperienceI can't fault this tour for an introduction to the expected and unexpected sights of Korea. While it was action-packed with three or four activities per day, the pace was manageable and our guide Mark kept us informed and entertained. There were some longish driving stretches but that is to be expected when you are trying to see a whole country in week. There was enough variety in the activities from temples and fortresses, villages and fish markets, museums and parks, tombs and seaside walks to paper making and moderate hiking. I was lucky to be in a group of eight in a minibus which was a great size for getting to know your fellow travellers. The hotels were top-notch and there was a variety of Korean food to try each day (not always to everyone's liking) but important to try when you are in another country.
What our customers ask about South Korea Family Tours
- What are the best family-friendly attractions and activities in South Korea?- South Korea's family attractions blend education with entertainment across its urban and rural landscapes. The National Folk Museum in Seoul lets children touch and feel Korean culture through interactive displays while at Gyeongbokgung Palace kids can dress up in traditional Hanbok costumes. Walking through Bukchon Hanok Village gives families a glimpse of old Korea with its preserved traditional houses. The Suncheon Bay National Garden provides open spaces where children can run free among seasonal flowers. One TourRadar traveler noted "This was an incredible trip through South Korea. We experienced both the history of the beautiful palaces and temples and the incredible natural beauty of the mountains." Family-oriented accommodations like the LOTTE City Hotel Mapo in Seoul place visitors near key attractions.
- What's the best time of year to visit South Korea with children?- The moderate temperatures of spring (April-May) and fall (September-October) create ideal conditions for family travel in South Korea. April brings cherry blossoms to Seoul's Gyeongbokgung Palace and Busan's Haeundae Beach drawing crowds of visitors. A TourRadar traveler shares "The sights in these locations were very exhilarating and if you like the experience of a traditional village you must visit Andong - most amazing." Winter temperatures drop significantly especially in Pyeongchang's mountains. Summer months (June-August) bring heat humidity and rain though coastal areas like Jeju Island maintain milder conditions throughout the year.
