What people love about Train & Rail Tours in Japan
- Classic Japan
A well thought out itinerary. Packed in a lot in a relatively short time. The weather was colder and wetter than we had expected, nevertheless we managed well. The guide was exceptionally good. She was well informed, thorough and calm. However, Booking through TourRadar created a few problems. And because we booked through a third party, intrepid representatives we tried to speak to directly were pretty unhelpful. My previous experiences with Intrepid had always been good. I suspect the growth of the company has led to a deterioration of services. It might also explain why the "notes" were so poor. The directions to the hotel in Kyoto upon our arrival were confusing. The tour was good because the quite was good.

- Epic Japan: Speed Trains & Street Food
Although this tour is one of the cheapest in Japan, I couldn't have asked for much more. The guide was very helpful and diligent at making sure we were well taken care of. The accommodation and transport was all fine, and there was plenty to do every day.
