What people love about Active Tours in Australia
- Wild Kimberley Overland (20 destinations)
Fabulous loop trip around the Kimberly region. Warra Dan, our driver was knowledgeable and organised our time well so that we made the most of our days without encountering crowds of other tourists. We covered big distances on sometimes rough terrain but always felt very safe with Warra driving. We arrived at our campsites in daylight which made things easier. The food was plentiful and fresh. Our hostess Nikki was delightful and very helpful.
- Perth to Exmouth, Karijini & Return
I had a wonderful time on my trip to Exmouth and Karijini National Park from Perth. Everything was well organized, the accommodations were clean and the food was great. Our tour guides were very good. A big thank you to Aaron and Sue. I'm still impressed by Sue's knowledge, easygoing way and dealing with problems. Aaron is a funny guy who is always in a good mood and has a cheeky saying on his lips. Both worked great together as a team and made the trip unforgettable for us. However, the tour could be two days longer, so that there is more time in the Karijini, for example. Unfortunately, that fell short. The driving hours on the website would also have to be adjusted, we were always on the road much longer. Otherwise everything else was perfect and I always felt safe with Sue and Aaron.
- Eye On The Reef - Marine Conservation Program on the Great Barrier Reef
The trip was very good. As I already had my PADI Open Water, I had two free days at the beginning. The highlight of the trip for me was the liveaboard. Two nights out on the reef with 4 dives a day was great. As the boat moved ~2 times a day, the dive sites changed. The marine conservation section was interesting. It was a new experience completing the surveys. The only down side I thought was that we had to take a ~2hr boat ride every day and the dive sites were limited by what other passengers were doing. However, the diving was still good.
